Dr. Xiaoying TANG is an Assistant Professor and Associate Researcher at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology, Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, PI for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Key R&D Program of China, Associate editor for Frontiers in Neuroscience and Frontiers in Neurology, Reviewers for multiple international journals such as NeuroImage and Human Brain Mapping.
Dr Xiaoying TANG’s research focuses on the intelligent and quantitative analysis of medical images, with primary applications to the multi-modality MRI image analysis of the human brain and the multi-modality ophthalmic images, as well as the AI-based early diagnosis and prediction of brain disorders and eye diseases.
