Dr. Yan Liu (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electronic information science and technology and the M.S. degree in communication and information system from Shandong University, Jinan, China, in 2001 and 2004, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in signal and information processing from the Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2007., She is an Associate Professor with the School of Computer and Control Engineering, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing. Her research interests include signal processing, image processing and machine learning with applications to radio echo sounding of ice sheets, biomedical signal, and images., Professor Liu is a member of the IEEE Signal Processing Society, IEEE Computer Society, and IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society.
