Dr. Ilkka KORHONEN received his degree in automation and control from technical college in Helsinki, Finland in 1978, the B.Sc. degree in communication techniques from Savonia-AMK Varkaus in 1995 and the M.Sc. degree in computer science from the University of Kuopio (UEF) in 2004. He is currently working at the Lappeenranta University of Technology, focusing on sensor techniques. Dr. Ilkka Korhonen has more than 200 international scientific publications, founding member of IEEE EMBS TC on Wearable Biomedical Sensors and Systems, a member of IEEE EMBS TC for Biomedical and Health Informatics, and a Senior Member in IEEE EMBS.
